DESCRIPTION:This workshop for teachers will take an active and accessible a
 pproach to teaching Shakespeare in the classroom. Using a combination of t
 heater games\, movement exercises\, and our natural human impulses\, this 
 workshop is intended to make Shakespeare more relatable\, instinctual\, an
 d less intimidating for students. We will also use practical examples from
  his text\, with specific regard to Othello\, and discuss its themes and c
 reative ways to explore the characters within this classic story. We will 
 leave you with a set of tools to help build students‘ skills so that the
  material will feel fresh and the classroom motivated.
